Excavator Hydraulic System Maintenance Guide: 5 Key Points to Extend Equipment S

#News Center ·2026-08-06 17:05:00

The hydraulic system is the core component of an excavator, and its condition directly determines the equipment's work efficiency and service life. In daily maintenance, it is recommended to focus on the following five key points.

1. Replace hydraulic oil and filter elements on schedule. Hydraulic oil should be replaced according to the manufacturer's cycle, and filter elements should be replaced at the same time to prevent impurities from entering the system and causing wear.

2. Control the hydraulic oil temperature. Excessive oil temperature will accelerate oil aging and seal damage. The radiator should be cleaned in time and the return oil back pressure should be checked.

3. Check seals and connectors. If leakage is found, replace the oil seal repair kit promptly to avoid pressure loss and environmental pollution.

4. Standardize operating habits. Avoid prolonged overload operation and frequent impact actions to reduce fatigue damage to hydraulic components.

5. Regularly inspect key components. Conduct regular inspections of the hydraulic main pump, travel motor, and swing motor to detect abnormalities early and reduce maintenance costs.
